Job Title: Head of Department - Actuarial Services
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Reviews documents relating to statistical information to construct guidelines for the company concerning products
- Advises on company policies for product development, pricing, reserving, reinsurance and financial management
- Develop effective tools to drive both profitability and new market growth
- Develop ways to use price as a competitive advantage
Requirements
- A good bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years Supervisory/Team Lead experience in a similar role in a reputable organisation
- Other relevant educational and or professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements:
- Must have led rate-making and pricing initiatives for insurance products
- Experience in investment
- Excellent statistical, analysis and monitoring skills
- Excellent creativity skills
- Very good communication skills
