Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

• Dispatch rider must possess excellent riding skills, time management skills, and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• In addition, you should be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Tasks

• Collect and deliver items or documents to clients, customers, or other stakeholders
• Plan and prioritize delivery routes to ensure timely delivery
• Inspect and maintain the assigned motorcycle to ensure its safety and efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or damages
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, payments, and expenses
• Communicate with clients, customers, or other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
• Follow traffic regulations and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of items and documents to clients, customers, or other stakeholders
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, and expenses
• Performing routine inspection and maintenance checks on the motorcycle to ensure it is in good condition, also to ensure its safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and safety standards at all times
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintaining good communication with the dispatch center to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries. Always collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations
• Attend training sessions to improve job skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND Holder
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a dispatch rider.
• Must possess a valid motorcycle rider's license.
• Good knowledge of the city road networks and routes.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and dispatch center.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver packages within the agreed timeframe.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and able to ride a motorcycle for long hours.
• Must have good vision and hearing abilities.
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30kg.

Salary
N60,000 - N75,000 / month.
