We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Working with and creating drawings for manufacturing;
• Administer appropriate agency and regulatory approval processes;
• Identify and assess key supplier capabilities using APQP processes and tools;
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets for assigned projects;
• Provide engineering support to product planning and/or technical support teams;
• Identify electrical quality and productivity improvement opportunities;
• Evaluate and develop electrical harness and component concepts for systems and assemblies to meet new product requirements;
• Design power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects;
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers;
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations;
• PCB layout;
• Detailed PCB drawings;
• Design review presentations;
• Cost and scheduling;
• Prototype testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• 2+ years’ work experience in automotive electrical systems design and/or systems engineering;
• Experience in system modeling using Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow;
• Competency in Microsoft products including;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience with power system modules and electric vehicle controls and safety features;
• Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint required;
• Experience in electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications design;
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD;
• Hands-on electrical circuit experience;
• LEED principles to building designs;

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / Month.
