Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• As a Store Keeper at our high-end club and restaurant, you will be responsiblefor managing and maintaining the inventory of food and beverage supplies, ensuring efficient stock control, and coordinating with various departments to fulfill their requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory of food and beverage supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile records.
• Collaborate with various departments to fulfill inventory requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas.
• Assist in developing inventory management procedures and policies.
• Perform routine stock rotation and implement FIFO method.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for inventory needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures is an advantage.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in using inventory management software.
• Knowledge of food and beverage storage standards and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, email).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Other Requirements:

• Must have excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit to perform manual lifting and moving of heavy stock items.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food storage.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
