Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking experienced and professional waiters/waitresses to join our team at a prestigious high-end restaurant and club.
• The ideal candidates will provide exceptional customer service, have a strong knowledge of food and beverages, and be able to create a memorable dining experience for our esteemed clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and exceed guests' expectations
• Ensure prompt and efficient service delivery
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage offerings
• Assist in upselling and promoting special menu items or events
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Experience

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or club for a minimum of 2 years
• Additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or club setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of food and beverages, including wine pairing
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a focus on providing personalized service
• Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Other Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Neat and professional appearance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays when necessary
