Helium Health is a full-service Healthtech company that provides a suite of solutions for healthcare providers, payers, and patients in emerging markets — at the core of which is our SaaS-based electronic medical records/hospital management information system (EMR/HMIS).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Intern

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assisting in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and budgeting.
• Conducting research on industry trends and financial benchmarks.
• Assisting in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Assisting in the monitoring and reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Supporting the preparation of presentations and reports for management.
• Assisting in the management of financial databases and systems.
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Recent University Graduate currently undergoing NYSC Program would be preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and concepts.
• Digital acumen and knowledge of use of modern work tools.
• Ability to facilitate communication within teams and participate effectively as a member in teams.
