Job Title: Manager, Marketing Communications

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing and communications strategies to promote our products and build brand awareness.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing and communications, excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and communications plans to promote our products, including defining target audiences, messaging, and positioning.
• Collaborate with product development teams to understand product features and benefits and create effective marketing materials.
• Develop and manage product launch plans, including creating launch materials, training sales teams, and coordinating launch events.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, and events.
• Write and edit marketing content, including web copy, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
• Develop and execute PR strategies to build brand awareness and media coverage.
• Manage relationships with media outlets and key influencers in the industry.
• Develop and manage marketing budgets and measure the ROI of marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Develop and execute internal communications plans to keep employees informed and engaged.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product marketing and communications, preferably in the fintech industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communications campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing for different channels and audiences.
• Strong understanding of product development processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Experience with PR and media relations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
