Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Coordination of weekly/monthly credit committee meetings.
- Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
- Timely follow up on overdue payments via telephone, emails and visits (where required)
- Ensuring receivables days are kept within allowable limits.
- Ensuring accuracy when setting up terms of credit for new clients.
- Ensuring due diligence is conducted on new customers.
- Reviewing and reporting on aged debtors.
- Regular review of the process and procedures to reduce debtor days.
- Ensuring up to date information on debtors.
- Ensuring timely reconciliation of customer payments to invoices.
- Monitor and track debtor position/account receivables and facilitate timely recovery of debts.
Requirements
- First Degree or minimum of second class upper degree in any other related discipline from a reputable university
- Relevant certification (e.g ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.
- 3+ years and above experience in a similar role.
