Job Title: BackEnd Engineer
Location: Lagos (Remote)
Job Role
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable server-side applications using Node.js, Nest.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and optimize APIs to support various client applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Implement data storage and retrieval mechanisms using PostgreSQL and design efficient database schemas.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with user interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and promote knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage backend applications in production environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
