We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solution Architect

Location: Remote
Category: Software Engineering

Purpose of the Position

  • The Solution Architect will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of alternatives and arriving at the best technology solution to solve specific business problems.
  • He / She will be responsible for translating requirements into process and technical designs that meet customer expectations and technical standards.
  • He / She will lead architecture design for specific systems, products or platforms and collaborate with the organization’s leaders to prioritize solution delivery.

Responsibilities
What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate alternatives and arrive at the best technology solution to solve specific business problems.
  • Provide technical direction, oversight of technical design and architecture and effort estimation and for all software solutions
  • Leads the estimation and assessment of the feasibility of solutions and their business impact
  • Lead the establishment and enforcement of related architectural governance and ensure alignment with industry frameworks.
  • Identifies and manages the organizational impact (on skills, processes, structures, and culture) and financial impact of proposed architectural solutions.
  • Continuously assesses the systems' architecture currently in place and works with technical staff to recommend and implement solutions to improve it.
  • Provides technical design and architectural leadership for the development of solution prototypes to justify the suitability of recommended solutions
  • Analyze and study complex systems requirements and prepare design documentation.
  • Provides updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets
  • Contribute toward the continuous improvement of project management methodology utilized within the Development team
  • Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
  • Describes the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders
  • Provides mentorship to junior architects and developers
  • Performs miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned to support the management team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related field. A postgraduate degree is desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering and software architecture design
  • Minimum of 4 year as a solution architect
  • Working experience of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Working experience of development frameworks and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Scrum)
  • Development experience in at least one of the following: .Net, Java, SQL, React, Angular, Python, etc.
  • Mobile development experience (Android, iOS)
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Project and resource management aptitude
  • Excellent collaboration and team working skills
