Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer / Manager

Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects of new products, development, and improvement of existing products towards ensuring accomplishment of organizations goals
- Review and recommend preparation of proposal drawings.
- Recommend appropriate materials, tolerances, GD&T, for a design.
- Provide support for design related issues that arise during production
- Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals.
- Ensure budget efficiency for each production project.
- Coordinate activities of Mechanical team
Requirements
- First Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or any related field.
- A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of 3D Mechanical design with inventor or solid works and solid Edge.
- In-depth knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, Solidworks and Fusion360.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
