Midas Henok - Our client, a big player in the Transport & Logistics Sector located in Mainland Lagos, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Account Officer (Cost Accounting)
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
- Construct data accumulation systems.
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g purchases of items and operations costs)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an HND/Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience with strong knowledge in Cost Accounting.
- Good MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word skill is required.
- Ability to prepare report.
- Previous experience within the transport and logistics space will be an advantage but not mandatory.
- Good organizational skills
