Midas Henok - Our client, a big player in the Transport & Logistics Sector located in Mainland Lagos, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Storekeeper (Spare Parts)
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Manage the spare part store organization and space utilization
- Manage supervision of spare parts movements and control of stocks
- Organize stock security
- Ensure and maintain proper inventory system and all parts issued/received are reflected immediately on to the stock card daily.
- Records all shipments of spare parts incoming and checks with the packing list
- Provides information of any excess, lose and damaged item
- Record properly the Receiving/ Issuing Slip / Stock
- Keep and file each document relative to a stock movement
- Ensure discipline and security in the Spare Part Department
- Produce stock analyses, documents, and reports upon request by management.
- Ensure the proper delivery / transfer of parts
- Establish spare part purchasing request to re-complete the stock
- Maintain minimum reordering stock levels.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a minimum of an OND
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and functions.
- Good knowledge of MS Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Excellent understanding on handling sensitive documents
- Good organizational skills
- Relevant experience in supervising spare parts /tools/store of similar size is preferred.
