Job Title: Compliance Officer and Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Objectives

  • The Compliance Officer and EA to the CEO is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Team and managing the organization’s office operations, including being the Leading voice and person in the absence of the CEO.
  • The Compliance Officer and EA to the CEO will also be responsible for ensuring that the Group's operations, policies and procedures are in alignment with applicable laws, regulations and policies to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for CEO. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  • Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Directors. Arrange and handle all logistics for Board meetings and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials; and record meeting minutes. Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding Board matters.
  • Ensure the Company functions in a legal and ethical manner, while meeting its business goals.
  • Develop Compliance programs, reviewing compliance programs, reviewing Company policies and advising management on possible risks.
  • Ensure that Directives and Expectations from CEO of staff are followed through to high standards.
  • Closely monitoring and setting achievement of target values for service and KPI’S. Responsible for corporate governance, Business ethics and ensure follow ups.
  • Support the CEO in monitoring general operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • First Degree or Post-graduate in any related field, preferably Law.
  • 4+ years of experience in a management position
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, staff, community leaders, donors, and funded partners.
  • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
