Registrar / Chief Executive Officer at the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Reg) Board of Nigeria (MRTBN)

The Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Reg) Board of Nigeria (MRTBN) is an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria (Established by Decree No. 38 of 1988/Acts M9 LFN, 2004) and the Statutory Regulatory Agency for Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths, Prosthetists/Orthotics, Speech therapists and Audiologists.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Registrar / Chief Executive Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Responsibilities

• The Registrar is the Head of the Secretariat and Chief Executive Officer of the Board.
• He/She shall be the Secretary to the Board and shall perform the duties of this office as stipulated in the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Registration, e.t.c) Act, M9 LFN, 2004.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Degree in any of the seven (7) fields of practice (Physiotherapy, Chiropractor, Occupational Therapy, Osteopathy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Speech Therapy and Audiology) or relevant field of study from an accredited University.
• Possession of postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
• Be a registered Medical Rehabilitation Therapist and have a current practicing license.
• Have a minimum of twelve (12) years post qualification experience.
• The position is tenured and those who are Sixty (60) years of age and above need not apply.
• Administrative qualification and experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of I.C.T will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must be medically fit; (Attach Evidence).
• Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity.
• Evidence of Medical Research is an added advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

• Salary and conditions of service shall be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure for this category of Officer and as may be contained in the MRTBN Conditions of Service.
