Job Description
- The Marketing Assistant oversees all content marketing initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and positive customer experience.
- He or she provides ongoing strategic recommendations for our B2B and B2C clients engaged in content creation for online marketing campaigns including content marketing, social media promotion, email marketing, blogging, PR and other content programs.
Responsibilities
- Executing and managing content marketing across multiple clients, industries and brands
- Develop and drive our technology blog
- Content planning, content development, content publishing, content localization and copywriting
- Understanding of and publishing via multiple content management systems (CMS)
- Social platform set-up (e.g. a Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
- Paid and Organic based content promotion, including influencer outreach
- Reporting content performance in web and social media analytics platforms
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Exceptional presentation, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute original content marketing and social media initiatives
- Ability to multi-task and complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop and WordPress
- Working knowledge of web analytics, social analytics and listening tools
- Must be detail oriented and have exceptional problem solving skills
