Job Title: Company Lawyer
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- The diversity of this position requires a strong background in a variety of areas.
- Possession of administrative skills, managerial skills, negotiating, writing and interpersonal skills is also of great benefit.
- Negotiating employee contracts
- Preparing and filing client's reports
- Drafting legal documents
- Reviewing new business relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Guiding managers on regulatory and compliance matters
- Formulating employee handbooks
- Analyzing legal issues relating to proposed services
- Representing the company before administrative boards and court trials
- Providing supervision to outside lawyers hired to assist the company with their specialized legal services
- Structuring joint enterprises with other organizations.
Qualification
- Candidates must have at least a second class upper degree from a recognised University as well as the Nigerian Law School.
- Must be proficient in Engineering/commercial law, and should be able to work with minimal supervision,
- Relevant post graduate qualifications may be an added advantage, but are not a requirement.
- Candidates must reside in Lagos.
