We are recruiting a talented and creative candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Video Editor / Animator

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage and audio to create high-quality videos for various platforms, including television, web, and social media.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand the vision and requirements for each project.
• Trim and arrange footage segments to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.
• Apply color correction, filters, and visual effects to enhance the visual quality of the videos.
• Add graphics, animations, and text overlays to create engaging and visually appealing content.
• Sync audio tracks, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music, to the video footage.
• Ensure all videos meet the company's style guidelines and maintain a consistent brand image.
• Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and software to continuously improve skills and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor/Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing and animation skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, transitions, and color grading.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with the production team.
• Strong communication skills to understand project requirements and provide creative input.
• Residence in or around Ikorodu, Lagos is preferred.
