We work with distribution companies in Nigeria to integrate their systems and databases with our payment network. Our group is approved by NERC as Meter Asset Provider and Meter Service Provider hence Pay4Power aims to improve the efficiency and timeliness of power purchases using technology and payment systems. Our system relieves our clients from the hassle and stress of physically paying for power at energy distribution companies' stands and offices. Our services are available 24 hours every single day. From the comfort of your homes and offices, you can buy power that is automatically reflected on your meters and consequently avoid any outages associated with power units being consumed completely. Our systems literally empower you to control when, where, and how you pay for power.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to work functionally with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
• Ability to create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
• Demonstrate competency in a .Net developing and in building software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework
• Writing functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects
• Demonstrate Team Player Spirit and Communicate well with Team Members
• Demonstrate competencies in the .NET framework and software design/architecture
• Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support.
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Skills and Requirements

• B.Sc / M.Sc Graduate with an Engineering or Science Degree.
• 5 - 8 years of work experience.
• Strong experience in building applications and integrations using Java, and Spring Boot.
• Building Java modules and testing features before release.
• Strong Enterprise application development using Spring Boot, Java, and JPA.
• Good Knowledge of Git, and Bitbucket Version control.
• Strong adopter of API First design practice.
• Have used AWS in a production environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and excellent collaborative skills.
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
• Attention to detail; Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization.
• Experience analyzing data while developing solutions to problems.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 / Month.
