We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Treasury Supervisor

Location: Lagos, Nigeria.

Job Purpose

  • Manage daily cash levels for corporate departments and ensure that such levels are appropriate, based on operating needs in the business.
  • Evaluate workflows and internal procedures and recommends improvement initiatives to the Treasury Manager.
  • Ensure that cash management systems, such as billing and payment mechanisms are adequate, functional and established in accordance with management's recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Importation system and related policies; depth and breadth knowledge of policies, systems, and procedures pertaining to Nigeria importation system. Ensure the company’s interest is always protected not to violate any government regulation/policy
  • Timely processing and payment of all import related invoices-BFC/LC/CAI as approved by management
  • Reporting of import status, payment and form “M” status
  • Ensure all import payment made are booked same month funds are transferred
  • Banking services - correspondences relating to importation (from purchase to payment date-amendment, discrepancies, cancellation, etc.)
  • Oversee the management of the Company’s defined benefit and contribution plan investments.
  • Coordinate and oversee activities of the plans’ actuaries, investment managers, investment advisors, custodians to ensure optimal management of plan assets
  • Participate in matters relating to pension plan accounting, funding, actuarial valuations, governance, and other corporate issues related to investments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or other related fields
  • 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
  • Prior experience with bank and debt capital markets and documentation a plus.
  • Must have full understanding of future implication of any new policy released by the regulator.
