We started operations over 2 decades ago and have strategic alliances with international companies which are world leaders in their respective fields. We provide engineering, procurement and construction as well as other related services.

We seek to immediately recruit an experienced and dynamic individual for the position of:

Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Job Description

The individual will have the opportunity of progressing further within the organization, depending on his performance, should be able to work with little supervision and be able to oversee a staff strength of about 30 persons, which include technical, marketing and administrative staffs.

Responsibilities
  • Overall co-ordination of all activities of the company.
  • Maintain and develop strong working relationship with existing and potential customers through regular contacts.
  • Ensure growth of sales and other activities within existing clients and generate additional growth/profit through identification and development of new clients.
  • Supervision of the technical, marketing and administrative staffs of the company and generating appropriate reports.
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations.
  • Assist the top management in achieving the set goals of the company.
  • Any other duties as may be directed by top management.
Qualification and Experience
  • A Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least second class upper division. A second degree in any area will be an added advantage. The candidate must also be vast in IT.
  • Not less than 15 years relevant experience, 5 years of which should be at management level.
The experience should cover all or some of the following;
  • Detailed and front end engineering in a well-established engineering office. Shall be familiar with codes such as API, ASME, BS, AFNOR etc.
  • Equipment installation, operation and maintenance.
  • Quality assurance and quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Materials specification, procurement and associated logistics.
  • Formulation of company policies, mission and vision statements.
  • Community engagement and dispute resolution.
  • General accounting and financial management.
  • Staff management, evaluation, discipline etc.
Age:
  • Not more than 45 years.
Remuneration
This will be commensurate with what is obtain able within the oil industry and will include official car and driver.
