Job Title: Junior Account Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Brief

• An Account Officer is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciling accounts with various vendors’ account.
• Organize and update financial records.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Compute, process and file payroll documents
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Requisite Qualifications

• Candidate must have a First Degree or Formal Training in Finance or Accounting.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounting role.
• Excellent organizing abilities.
• Great attention to detail.
• Great numerical skills.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office package and other accounting software
