Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Civil Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To take care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done at site.
• Establish report and follow up on non-conformance activities.
• Follow up on inspection test plans and ensure that standards of quality are followed.
• Ensures that daily quality control records are maintained and kept.
• Inspects and performs quality control tests and maintains the records.
• Review Method Statement approval or comments of the Engineer and take action

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or HND
• A minimum of Four years’ experience in Construction Industry.
• Good knowledge of civil design and installation methods for foundations, footers, and industrial or commercial buildings.
• Good communication, leadership, and initiative skills;
• Critical thinking and analytical skills;
• Must be precise, organized, flexible and autonomous.
