About the Job

• The quality control officer ensures overall compliance with quality standards and representations on the eCommerce platform.
• The quality assurance officer is responsible for ensuring that products and services on the eCommerce platform meet the standards as articulated in the company policy.
• Their duties include maintaining strong overall quality control with respect to reliability and performance of merchants, quality of the products and services advertised, customer satisfaction, store imagery, descriptions and categorizations and maintaining up to date KYC information on all merchants.
• They are required to advise management on sub-standard merchants and products.
• They are responsible for recommending and communicating sanctions, delisting merchants, and products where necessary.
• Inspection of physical products, digital products and services is part of the job responsibility with the obligation to report and document findings.
• They are responsible for ensuring that service standards are maintained for all business operational teams.
• Their activities would be conducted digitally, physically, or as recommended by the supervisor

Qualifications for Quality Assurance

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of post-graduation working experience with most of the time in reputable organizations that are process orientated
• Working knowledge of eCommerce products and services
• In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies
• Good customer focus
• Sharp attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and diligent attributes
• Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
