IITA is an international non-profit agricultural research-for-development (R4D) organization established in 1967, governed by a Board of Trustees, and a member of the CGIAR Consortium. The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Mechanic II
Location: Ibadan
Job Status: Contract (2 year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing of light trucks and cars
- Overhauling vehicles and components
- Preparation of vehicles for road-worthiness test
- Checking vehicles for long trips
- Pre-delivery inspections and keeping records
- Recovery of vehicles
- Cleaning and maintenance of workshop and equipment
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor;
Qualification and Experience
- OND, Trade Test II /Artisan Certificate in Mechanical Engineering plus at least six (6) years relevant experience.
