Job Title: Media Librarian

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities

• Select and acquire Media based on user needs, Library Policies, and budget constraints.
• Stay updated with emerging media trends and technologies to ensure the library’s collection remains relevant and comprehensive.
• Create accurate metadata records for media items using appropriate cataloging standards.
• Implement preservation strategies to safeguard media materials from damage or deterioration.
• Stay informed about best practices for long-term storage and access to different media formats.
• Develop and maintain a system for organizing and accessing media materials.
• Conduct regular evaluation of the media Collection to access its relevant usage and conditions.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills
• Good time-management skills
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage projects and give presentations.
• Knowledge of specific field (such as law or music)
• Computer research skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Salary Range
N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
