We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: FF Towers, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • The IT Infrastructure Manager will ensure IT infrastructure uptime and quality management.
  • He/ She will act as liaison between technology and the business ensuring appropriate interests are represented and changes which impact customers, or the business are duly documented and communicated in timely manner.
  • In addition, he/she will manage the corporate LAN/WAN, CCTV, Biometric Access Control, and CISCO VoIP Infrastructures including Cisco IVR as well as maintaining the IT Security Architecture Plans for MainOne.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Act as liaison between technology and business ensuring appropriate interests are represented; communicate changes that impact customers or business, including changes in staff, technology, policy, procedures, or practices
  • Responsible for ensuring infrastructure and uptime and quality management
  • Chair regular operations/service meetings to track issues, drive action items and manage day-to-day operations of servers, storages and server operating systems
  • Monitor the deliverables of each team member to ensure successful project delivery within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost and quality
  • Manage project issues and risks by reaffirming customer’s expectations and taking early action to identify, track and resolve potential problems
  • Work with the Procurement, Operations and Vendor Management teams to obtain Service Improvement plans for non-performing vendors.
  • Escalate repeat incidents in a timely manner for Management visibility.
  • Ensure there are up-to-date ‘As-Built’ documentation for all IT infrastructure deployments.
  • Engage customers for convenient window for maintenance activities and provide feedback to the operations team
  • Advise Technical teams on areas of low performance and request improvement plans.
  • Reconcile available reports and service performance with customers.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of CISCO switches and routers and maintain existing CISCO VOIP infrastructure
  • Perform wireless LAN/WAN maintenance work and perform IP Network support, network protocol analysis and monitoring
  • Oversee TCP/IP network design and configuration
  • Provide proactive support of the corporate LAN/WAN infrastructure and liaise with the IP Team to determine the current corporate network topology and design
  • Oversee firewall configuration and maintenance
  • Design, document, and evaluate computer security programs by researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, communicating and implementing new security software or devices
  • Develop and analyse IT security models, and maintains methodology to track Security Plans for each sensitive/critical major application and a general support system within the organization
  • Oversee the testing of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools
  • Develop and maintain IT Security Architecture Plans by auditing present configurations and communicating and developing security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications
  • Conduct investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information
  • Attend Change Advisor Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

  • B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
  • Postgraduate/relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • At least ten (10) years work experience.
  • CCNP, ITIL/TOGAF
  • Proficiency in Security Concepts (Firewall, Concept)
  • Knowledge of Unified Communication (CISCO)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies including O365 and Azure, Storage/Data Management and Wireless Technology
  • Knowledge of IT Processes and networks
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite including MS Project and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Time and priority management skills
  • Very good interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Accountable and dependable
