We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cinema Projectionist

Location: Ago Iwoye, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain digital cinema projection equipment, including projectors, servers, and audio systems.
• Load and organize film reels or digital content onto the projection system according to screening schedules.
• Monitor and adjust projection and sound equipment during screenings to maintain optimal visual and audio quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of projection equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with the cinema management team to coordinate screening schedules and resolve any technical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any technical concerns raised by patrons during screenings.
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Previous experience as a Cinema Projectionist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in operating digital cinema projection systems.
• Familiarity with different projection formats, including 35mm film and digital cinema formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet screening schedules.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly address technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
