Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Junior Account with the ability to Prepare, examine and analyse financial reports and records, prepare tax documents, create effective and cost-efficient financial practices and procedures for business operations in the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting/financial processes and professional documentation and filling
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly cash and bank reconciliation reports, working closely with the various unit heads.
• Daily posting of financial transactions.
• Disbursement of approved transactions to contractors and consultants while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations
• Interface with our external accounting service providers and auditors
• Ensures that internal control procedures are followed for all cash disbursements, receipts and transfers
• Work with the Human Resources and payroll administrator in the preparation of employee payroll and payments
• Undertaking financial audits (an independent check of an organization’s financial position).
• Continuous management of financial systems and budgets
• Preparing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
• Advising on tax and treasury issues.
• Performs other accounting duties assigned,

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc  in Accounting or relevant Degree.
• 2 years hands on experience.
• Use of accounting softwares or packages.
