Job Description

  • The Operations Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of a start-up logistics company.
  • This position involves a range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes.
  • The Operations Assistant collaborates closely with various teams and departments to meet customer expectations and maintain high-quality service standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates should possess minimum of an HND qualification in Business Administration or any other relevant field; additional relevant certifications or courses in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
  • 1 - 3 years relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in an administrative or operational role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes, including order processing, inventory management, and shipment coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including MS Office suite and inventory management systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions for process improvement.
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Proximity to the Job location is paramount.
  • Preferably female.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
