Job Description
- We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team.
- We are currently seeking a candidate with a strong background in outdoor electrical sales to take on a crucial role in expanding our business in Lagos.
- As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our range of electrical products and solutions to clients in the outdoor sector.
- Your expertise in electrical sales, combined with your excellent communication and negotiation skills, will be vital in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share in the outdoor electrical segment.
- Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into profitable business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to educate customers about our offerings.
- Collaborate with the internal technical team to develop customized solutions and proposals based on customer requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors' activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide after-sales support, including addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of outdoor electrical products, including lighting, cables, switchgear, and related solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
