Job Title: Knowledge Specialist

Location: Lagos

Description 

  • The Knowledge team in the Customer Success department is looking for a new member to focus on text creation and other demands involving English mastery in relation to the InEvent intellectual property.

You will have the autonomy and responsibility to:

  • Author and edit articles in English;
  • Create content related to the InEvent imagery for specific articles (GIFs, images, etc);
  • Organize your routine in order to achieve the expected deadlines of your tasks;
  • Accompany and follow the priorities settled by the Team Leader;
  • Communicate clearly with other departments such as Product or Customer Success to ensure your content's precision;
  • Work simultaneously with Help Docs, Trello and Slack;
  • Continuously improve your knowledge on the platform;
  • Contribute to the team's value and growth.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English;
  • Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer;
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences;
  • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content;
  • Detail focus, proactivity, time management, and organizational skills;
  • Proven track of generating and maintaining relationships with customers;
  • Experience in a tech startup is a differential;
  • Availability to work with different time zones.
