Job Title: Chemist/Lab Manager
Location: Port Harcourt
Duties
- Knowledge of a range of software techniques and equipment to carry out research and analysis.
- Analyse and interpret data, ensure that data is accurately recorded in accordance with international best practice and guidelines interpret correctly/report/present results.
- Write research papers, report, reviews and summaries.
- Keep up to date with scientific and technical developments
- Ensure that health and safety policies/standards are complied with.
- Prepare product license documentation.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and research/scientific staff.
- Develop new analytical methods.
- Prepare the laboratory for ISO certification
Qualifications and Experience
- MSc Degree in Analytical / Environmental Chemistry.
- Minimum of 5 years industry working experience.
- PhD degree will be an advantage.
