Job Title: Chief Electrician (Jackup Rig)

Location: Jakande - Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Chief Electrician is responsible for performing duties in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, parts ordering and administration of PMS system.
• Should have hands on working experience in drilling Equipment's with in-depth knowledge of testing and repairing.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 - 15 years in onshore or offshore drilling operation.
• BOSIET/HUET/SAS
• Seaman's Book
• Covid Vaccination Certificate.

Trainings / Certifications / Skills:

• Must have good knowledge in PLC, VFD, network Communications types and troubleshooting, computer software, computer hardware and Drilling electrical Equipment's.
• Use electrical schematic and wiring diagram.
• Interpret information from difference sources
• Familiar with cable size international standards.
• Perform basic power calculation.
• Familiar with ABS standards.
• Must has good knowledge of drilling Equips and rig operations.
• Possesses good technical, supervisory and communication skills.
