Job Description

• The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in the healthcare industry, preferably in an independent senior role.
• As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes.
• The controller will also produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

Objectives of this role

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions
• Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development
• Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Accounting, or related fields
• Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• Professional certification, such as a Chartered Accountant or CPA (certified public accountant).

Required skills and qualifications:

• MUST HAVE a deep understanding of QuickBooks (QB) Online working across multiple holding companies, subsidiaries, and their respective bank accounts
• MUST demonstrate an ability to adjust automatic QB reports to management’s reporting protocols
• Three references of U.S.-Based CEOs or CFOs the applicant has directly worked with using Quick Books online
• Five years or more years of working with QuickBooks online for a US-based company
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
• Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
• Exemplary history of financial project management.
