Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our goal of migrating our website to Microsoft Azure with at least 99.99% uptime.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with the LAMP stack and a solid understanding of Azure and its services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure on Azure, including load balancing, and managed databases.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate the deployment of code and infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the website on Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the Azure environment.
• Participate in the migration process and ensure that the website is properly configured on Azure.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Strong experience with the LAMP stack.
• Solid understanding of Azure and its services.
• Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
