The FUTA Staff Secondary School was established in November, 1992 to cater primarily for the children of staff of the University of Technology, Akure and the Children and wards of members of the University's immediate community. Today, the School is excellent in performance and the ex-student are equally excelling in different field of human endeavours.
The Staff Secondary School is a Private/Public Partnership Secondary School. The Federal Government, through the University, funds the Capital Development, while the School's management Board manages the School, fixes salaries and remunerations of staff.
The School Management Board hereby wishes to appoint a new Principal to fill the vacancy that will be created by the exit of the incumbent Principal whose tenure will expire shortly. Consequently, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Qualifications
- The Candidates must be a qualified teacher with a minimum of University Degree from a recognized University with no less than Fifteen (15) years cognate Secondary School teaching experience.
- He/she must not be less than Vice - Principal in status presently or must have reached that status presently or must have reached that status before.
Remuneration
FUTA Staff Secondary School salary scale, N1,638,817,2 - N2,143,594,8 Per annum.
