Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our diverse range of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns based on project specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to analyze project requirements and evaluate cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders.
• Identify and analyze cost variances, deviations, and risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate financial impacts.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify completed work quantities and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and regulatory changes to ensure accurate cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools, such as CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical and mathematical abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
