Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (FMCG)

General Objective

• Support and supervise all aspects of mechanical maintenance in plant.
• Develop the system to solve all breakdowns in plants related to Mechanical works, do plan maintenance for all plant equipment to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planned maintenance routines of all machines and equipment.
• Keep a record of breakdowns and maintenance works to reduce downtime by suggesting and implementing correct user processes and training.
• Must report the condition of all machines and spares required for smooth functioning of plant equipment.
• Select and develop a correct training program for subordinate mechanical technicians.
• Suggest modifications and alterations for reducing downtime and increasing the performance of plant equipment.
• Responsible for indicating training requirements for subordinate engineering staff and operators.

Competence & Skills Required

• BSc / Degree in Mechanical engineering with a minimum of five years' experience.
• Full mechanical knowledge of all equipment in utility/process/production plant.
• Should be able to handle all breakdowns and maintenance related to workshop and mechanical.
• Should have basic knowledge of power distribution.
