Job Title: Dentist
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
- Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.
- Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
- Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.
- Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
- Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them
- Ensure collection of all receivables from Patients
- Comply with all Practices’ policies and procedure on diagnosis, treatment, etc.
- Participate in the Practice’s marketing drive
- Participate in training and continuing education
- Prepare required weekly and monthly reports
- Examine dental and oral health of patients.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 3 years work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Candidates must possess their MBBS,
- Minimum of 2 years post NYSC work experience in the requisite field
- Current practicing license.
