Job Title: Early Years Tutor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The main responsibility of the Early Years tutor is to motivate children and use resources imaginatively to help them learn up to the age of 5 years.
• The tutor will also make use of the safe and secure environment provided for them to develop their social and communication skills, while recording observations and summarizing their achievements.

Requirements / Required

• Degree in Education, with a focus on early childhood development
• Additional qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.

Key Focus Areas:

• Developing and producing visual aids and teaching resources
• Developing children’s curiosity and knowledge
• Organizing learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources
• Ability to communicate with young children at their level
• Encouraging children’s mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play
