Position Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Mechanical Engineer to join Sinoma Nigeria Company Limited, a construction Chinese company specializing in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey projects. As a Design Mechanical Engineer at Sinoma Nigeria, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for various projects. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Develop innovative mechanical design concepts, considering functionality, performance, and manufacturability.
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate and optimize mechanical designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical designs into projects.
• Generate technical documentation and reports communicating design concepts and recommendations.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 - 10 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Design Mechanical Engineer in engineering consulting or construction projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design considerations.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical systems.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
