Black Fragrance School of Design, also known as Lagos School of Design (LSD) is Nigeria’s most comprehensive design academy providing professional training in several design fields; from fashion design to event design and from graphics design to web designing. Black Fragrance School of Design is the training arm of Black Fragrance Foundation – a multi-national social enterprise that seeks to foster sustainable development in Africa through entrepreneurial and social innovations that improve access to education, strengthen the creative economy, develop enterprise and promote peace.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: In-house Fashion Designer

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To head the production unit of fashion company.
• Supervising the design and production of fashion products for sale.
• Coaching the students at the academy in pattern drafting, fashion illustration and gaming construction.
• Teaching students sewing techniques, fashion trends, sketching designs and selecting fabrics.
• A candidate willing to settle in and use our space as base for their own work on full time bases.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant Training and/or Certification as a fashion designer.
• 3 - 6 years relevant work experience.
• Proven work experience as a fashion designer.
• Excellent design and conceptual skills.
