Job Title: Paediatrician
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, monitoring, and treating children who are injured, ill or living with disabilities
- Performing comprehensive examinations on newborns and children to identify abnormalities and checking for normal growth and development
- Prescribing treatment methods, including administering medication, performing surgeries, and other therapies
- Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans with parents and children
- Ordering tests and referring patients to Specialists
- Advising patients and their family members on medication use, nutrition and preventive measures
- Creating patients’ medical reports to support other healthcare professionals
- Liaising daily with other members of staff in providing the very best of care to all hospital pediatric clients
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years post qualification work experience
- Knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative methods and principles
- Exceptional understanding of various diseases that affect babies and children
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent active listening skills
- Empathy and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills
