We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the job

• Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRSs and GAAPs
• Preparation of Weekly/Monthly Management Reports
• Posting of transactions into the Accounting Software
• Handle banking transactions and carry out weekly/monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
• Preparation and maintenance of the Company’s Fixed asset register
• Have a sound working knowledge of the Nigerian Tax system and handle all statutory remittances for the Company e.g., PAYE, WHT & VAT
• Assist in Providing Information to the Auditors for annual/Interim Audits.
• Preparation of annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 - 4 years Post-NYSC work experience in accounting
• ACCA, ICAN Certification Is Required
• Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
• Experience as an analyst working or have worked within the space of Private equity or venture capital.

Skills:

• Very strong analytical and numeric skills
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication
• Proactive and requires limited supervision.
• Good Presentation skills.
