Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Specialist with expertise in SD-WAN (Meraki), Wireless Technologies, SolarWinds, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). As a Network Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Your in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge networking technologies will contribute to the seamless operation of our organization's network.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions using Meraki devices to optimize the performance and reliability of our wide area network (WAN).
• Configure and manage wireless technologies, including access points, controllers, and wireless security protocols, to provide robust and secure wireless connectivity for our users.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and other network monitoring tools.
• Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and design appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
• Perform network capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement network security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Specialist with a focus on SD-WAN, Wireless Technologies, SolarWinds, and Cisco ISE.
• Strong knowledge of Meraki SD-WAN solutions, including configuration, deployment, and management.
• Extensive experience in configuring and managing wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi access points, controllers, and security protocols.
• Proficiency in using SolarWinds NPM and other network monitoring tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of network access control and security policies, with hands-on experience in Cisco ISE implementation.
• Familiarity with routing protocols, switching technologies, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Meraki certifications, or SolarWinds certifications, will be a plus.
