We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Market Research / Procurement Officer
Location: Lagos
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on market price for supplies.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
- Identify potential new products or markets through research.
- Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.
- Source for spare parts for Truck/Trailers
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing and approving products services to be purchased.
- Prepare budget cost analysis and reports.
- Source for supplies/ materials.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery time, product ranges etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Competency & Technical skill requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field.
- +3 years experience in procurement department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Attention to detail.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
