Kaduna Electric, a registered trademark of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, is licensed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to distribute and retail electricity within a service coverage area of Northwestern-most of Nigeria. It has its Headquarters in Kaduna, with offices in Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

Job Summary
- Responsible for executing the company’s media and community relations strategy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementacomprehensivecommunications and media strategy.
- Managecompanyreputation- conductand respond to pressenquiries, investigatenegative press;periodicallyplacebusinessupdatesinboth theelectronic and printmedia.
- Undertake mediarelationsand publicitydrive–advertisements(print,TV,radio )
- Effectively disseminate allcontent/ messagesto bereleasedin thepublicdomain
- Produce monthly reports of company’s media activities
- Liaising with the media –press, radio and TV to ensure news items are reported promptly.
- Provide support in community relations campaigns and consumer forums.
Competency and Skill Requirements
- Good understanding of the media.
- Good journalism skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
Experience and Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or HND in Mass Communication or any other related course.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 3 years cognate experience
