Job Title: Senior Manager, Cloud Business Development

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Purpose of the Role

  • The primary responsibility is to deliver and generate demand in growing the cloud footprint by delivering immediate value to the customer with a well defined cloud adoption plan.
  • The candidate will work closely with C suite stakeholders, contributing vision to the customer's cloud strategy, and becoming a trusted business partner by developing the right solutions to meet the business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, nurture, and maintain Huawei cloud key Customers, and build the relationship in Sector such as E-commerce, Online Media, Fintech, Social Tool and other OTT industries.
  • Provide technical support for public cloud projects to ensure the implementation of PoC test of the solution and service migration to the cloud
  • Undertake the sales target of the customer, gain insight into business opportunities based on the strategy and regional business objectives, participate in developing and implementing the development strategy
  • Establishing close working relationships, trust, and become an advisory to C suite's in the customer organisation.
  • Helping the customer to create the cloud/application strategy and road map (which cloud, cloud vs. on-prem).
  • The ability to breakdown complex customer pain points and the ability to articulate the cloud value proposition in sales.
  • Working with the product development, enterprise architects and product specialist to develop a well define cloud blueprint.
  • Helping organisations to tackle integration strategy/hybrid scenarios
  • Advising on the procurement process, and considerations for new consumption methods (for example contracting, OPEX vs. CAPEX)
  • As part of account management and sales responsibility,Develop growth strategies with the executive teams working on strategies around account planning and strategies
  • Manage account planning, and proposals as well as to lead prospect and manage close relationships with key target clients.

Experience Required and Education Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Marketing, IT or any related qualification will be an advantage
  • At least 10 years’ solutions sales and/or account management experience involving large, complex projects in the cloud space
  • Successful sales experience within FinTech and OTT Company
  • Be familiar with the methodology and key points of customer and channel development
  • Have professional knowledge about project support and customer technical solution communication;
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, understanding of the sales process and methods as well as profitability and risk management skills
  • Strong consulting skills with excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Understanding ICT products and services, its competitors’ offerings and the key differentiation
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
