Kaduna Electric, a registered trademark of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, is licensed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to distribute and retail electricity within a service coverage area of Northwestern-most of Nigeria. It has its Headquarters in Kaduna, with offices in Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

Job Title: Draughtsman Technician
Job Status: Full-time
Locations: Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara States
Job Summary
- Responsible for performing Survey inspections, Sketching and developing network/ substations drawings for in-house and external clients.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in Site survey and inspection for propose Projects.
- Develop technical drawings of projects for Expenditure sanction preparation.
- Update network drawing as applicable
- Assist in technical drawing change control to ensure constancy, safety and adherence to established standards.
- Keep and maintain technical records for future reference.
- Provide technical activities report to the Unit Head on monthly basis.
Experience and Minimum Requirements
- Secondary Certificate - Ordinary Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Auto card, Corel Draw etc).
- Minimum of 2 year cognate experience.
Competency and Skill Requirements
- Good working knowledge of design software (AUTO CARD, COREL DRAW etc.)
- Ability to identify and differentiate all voltage levels.
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering symbols.
- Proficient in practice of engineering design issues.
- Be adaptable and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
